A SINGULAR BOOK (or 2)!

I didn’t get around to posting on Wednesday as I was trying to construct a huge post whilst being run down by impending assignments, so today I have planned a quick post to discuss my September TBR.

The books on the agenda for this month are very minimal.

This doesn’t count to the TBR, but I want to finish reading Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte of which was the third book on my August TBR list. I am 50 pages in but hope to finish it quickly so I can start my main read of this month.

My Main Read of September will be…

GODSGRAVE by Jay Kristoff!!!

At the Darkdawn book launch, I was very much scolded – in a very nice way – for not having finished Godsgrave before coming to the launch. I did the same thing when I went to the Godsgrave book launch so at least I’m consistent.

Regardless, I have chosen to give in to the peer pressure and purchase yet another copy of the book in hopes that I can finish it in a single month (unlike Nevernight).

This means that there will only be 2 book reviews posted in September – one at the start and one at the end.

The Unknown Second Novel.

Okay, so I said that Four Dead Queens isn’t on the TBR as it was on last month’s, but in addition to Godsgrave, there is a second novel I plan to read in September. The only issue is, I can’t tell you what the novel is.

You can probably guess what it is, as I bought it on a recommendation by TheYARoom so I could attend a book meet without encountering spoilers, but as to avoid spoilers of my own – for reasons you will come to know – I will not be revealing the second book I am reading this month until I’ve read it!
