The event was located at Dymocks in Melbourne’s City, and hosted by Allen & Unwin and Inside a Dog – who are responsible for The Inky Awards of which the longlists have already been released. It was such an amazing night! There was lots of laughter, chatter, and socialisation especially on my part.

The event was held in Readings Kids, a kids/ young adult bookstore the opened up on Lygon Street in Carlton, Melbourne mid last year. It sits beside its older brother store Readings, which sells all the big kids books such as non-fiction and all genres other than kids and YA.
