Heyo Bookaholics!
You’ve all seen the title, so let’s begin with what you all came here for.
LIFEL1K3 BOOK LAUNCH!
LifeL1K3 by Jay Kristoff officially launched in Melbourne last night and it was amazing!
To celebrate the official Lifel1k3, Jay blessed us with AI facts from Google and Facebook, while MC Amie tried to reassure us that we are all safe, and won’t end us in the same situation as the characters in LifeL1k3 – and yes I’ll continue to spell LifeL1k3 like that.
Obsidio Book Launch Melbourne!
Heyo Bookaholics!
Last night I went to The State Library of Victoria to attend the book launch for Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman’s new book Obsidio, the third book in the Illuminae files trilogy!
I dragged my friend Tatiana, and my Dad along to the event that was MC’d by the wonderful girls of TheYARoom Melbourne Book Club – Sarah and Alex (pictured above). Also if you follow @trufflebooks on Instagram, you’ll notice Tracy’s purple hair as she is seated a couple rows in front of me
Tin Heart Book Launch!!!
Heyo Bookaholics!
Last night I attended the book launch for Tin Heart by Shivaun Plozza. The event was located at Dymocks in Melbourne’s City, and hosted by Allen & Unwin and Inside a Dog – who are responsible for The Inky Awards of which the longlists have already been released.
It was such an amazing night! There was lots of laughter, chatter, and socialisation especially on my part.
Ironheart by Jodi McAlister Book Launch!

Yesterday (9 Feb 2018), my mother and I went to the book launch of Ironheart by Jodi McAlister!
The event was held in Readings Kids, a kids/ young adult bookstore the opened up on Lygon Street in Carlton, Melbourne mid last year. It sits beside its older brother store Readings, which sells all the big kids books such as non-fiction and all genres other than kids and YA.
Penguin YA Teen Showcase!
Heyo Bookaholics!
I hope this post makes up for the lack of review on Monday. I have not yet finished Storm and Grace by Kathryn Heyman, though I really hope to have it done by Next Monday.
Last night, thanks to Tracy, we were lucky enough to attend the YA Penguin Teen Showcase. At the event,
