Seoul, South Korea: First Impressions from an Aussie

Seoul, South Korea: First Impressions from an Aussie

Heyo Bookaholics!

This is kinda like a review?

Seoul has been amazing so far and day two is just coming to a close as I write this.

We landed around 11:15 Korea time and took the train to our hotel from the airport. On the trip, we were able to look out at the farmlands and watch as the scenery changed from rice farms to the big city of Seoul.

Seoul is beautiful and I will say it every chance I get. We are in a relatively quiet part of town surrounded by markets, close to a station, near a 7/11 store and just generally in a good area. Sarah and I have explored the markets and as you will see in the vlog, I may have purchased a lot of random goods (especially washi tape).

I expected Seoul to be loud, chaotic, busy. So far it has just been calm, quiet and aesthetically pleasing.

Seoul is a city in which you need to carry a camera around everywhere you go as to not miss a beautiful photo opportunity. Every store holds the most wonderful secrets, the people are so lovely and welcoming, even if they don’t speak English, they are willing to help and make sure you are accommodated for.

Day 1 Vlog!

I hope you enjoyed this post and found the video as entertaining as we did 🙂 Have a beautiful day, evening or night wherever you are in this wide wide world xxx
