IT’S A BLOG TOUR!!!!!
I’ve participated in a blog tour before and that post did so so well, and I am so grateful to be able to participate in another one. I do want to thank my amazing friend Tracy (@trufflebooks) who I’ve probably mentioned a thousand times on this blog, as well as the wonderful PR team at Simon and Schuster for giving me this opportunity.
I enjoy blog tours because they bring people together to share and read others thoughts on a particular book, and it almost feels as if we’ve all done one huge buddy read.
The book at the centre of this Blog Tour is Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett which is a wonderfully written and lovable book that you’ll never be able to let go of.

This is a bit of a strange story and is literally taken from a dream I had last night. It was crazy, I woke up very confused and immediately thought you’d all find enjoyment from it!
Today was a crazy day, and as I promised you all on Instagram, I have a (slightly dramatised) Interview Horror story and life lesson to share. This will be told in narrative form and is inspired by what happened to me today in my professional interviews.

I didn’t go to my interviews like this, but how cute is my hair, and my outfit, and that flash!?!?!? Moral of this is show off when you think you look cute because 100% of the time you actually look cute af! Also, this was casual day at work and casual day is the best day ever!

This book Face written by Benjamin Zephaniah was published in 2004 by Bloomsbury USA, and this year has been given a new cover (as pictured below). I was sent this book from Bloomsbury publishing, so a huge thank you to them for making this post possible.
Disclaimer: I am of course rating this as a Young Adult reading this, but many of the points will be referred back to “young Bree” and how she would’ve reviewed the book. This will not be compared using my normal scale, and such will not be likened to the works of Patrick Ness and Cassandra Clare.
In the moving and compelling debut novel from Benjamin Zephaniah, a young man’s life is completely changed when his face is badly scarred in a car accident.

So I unconsciously did a thing with my TBR last month in Feb, where, only after watching HaileyInBookland’s video March TBR | Books I want to read this month I realised this.

Last Monday, I did not post a review, but today I am posting one of my most controversial and opinionated reviews yet.
I have many mixed emotions about this book with many stronger ones developing within the last 30 pages of this novel, where it really started to pick up and provide a certain sense of enlightenment as to where the story had been leading.
