Heyo Bookaholics!

I actually got writing done *pat’s self on the back*!

It’s that time of the month again where the crew gets together for brunch at Mr. Tulk in the CBD and try to write as many words as we can! I think I managed almost 500 words which is a nice round number to end the week on.

My Morning…

I finished my placement yesterday and was having a smol sleep in so I didn’t set an alarm, which ended up with me flinging myself out of bed at 9:15 and leaving the house by 9:30. In such a hurry, I almost forgot my house keys, luckily I made it in time for the bus.

I was one the second one there, catching up with Sarah while we waited for everyone else to arrive. She took the time to give me some feedback on my current WIP #Realise which she has read up until chapter 9. I was so nervous to give anyone access, but I chose Sarah because she has a deep love for contemporary novels and I know she will be a great critic.

Brunch!

Everyone arrived and I was slightly hungover from the previous night (*chough* lightweight *cough*) which was fun, but after eating something I was back in top shape. So really I just needed food \_(-_-)_/

Sarah is taking the photo, so she wasn’t in the photo. But if you look close enough at the empty chair, you can still see her writing and smiling as she murders another character (hehe).

There were so many conversations going on and I am so happy to have spent my morning in such good company!

I went on to spend the rest of my day bouldering, partying, then driving my friend’s home from said party which involved a great car sing-along and a strange conversation about what character’s we’d each play in a movie.
