A little reminder…

I did NaNoWriMo last month again! If you are new here and haven’t seen my previous NaNoWriMo posts, you can find them linked below, just click on the header image to view the post!

    

Official NaNoWriMo WIP update posts will be running up until the end of the year, then periodic updates will continue as I write this novel. I love writing these as they keep me committed to writing as I don’t want to see a bad week of stats, also I want to reach 50k goddamnit!

Progress Report!

This progress update will take off from the Week 4 Update post which I posted a week ago. I will be showing analytics from the 1st to the 11th of December only, previous data can be found in prior update posts.
I will no longer be using my personal table tracker which I have used in all of my November updates. If you don’t know what this is, it is a manual tracker I created that can be found in my Prepping For NaNo Blog Post.

The image below is my updated dashboard from Pacemaker, showing the number of words written (green) and what I have to do to reach 50k (blue). The high peaks are approximately 1,000 words and the low ones 600 words, as previously mentioned.

As you can see from the above table, there was a reason I didn’t post an update last week…

I was embarrassed to show that I had made no progress at all and didn’t write. It really sucked to see that I had made no progress whatsoever and that’s why, when I had the chance to, I managed to smash out as many words as I could!

Current Word Count: 23,095

Tomorrows Goal: 24,000

 

Knowing what I know from attempting to write during my Korea holiday, I don’t expect much writing to go down over my family Christmas Holiday. So until Christmas gets Christmassy, I will be attempting to write as much as I can to reach the ultimate goal of 50,000 words!

How is your NaNo WIP going? Good luck if you are also participating in NaNo this year and always be proud of your work, no matter what it is, you can learn from it!
