Heyo Bookaholics!
New Year, Same Books, New TBR!
Not only is another month upon us, but it is another year! That means it’s January and January TBRs are always the scariest to put together. I don’t know about you, but I think that choosing books to read for the start of the year is a very scary feat. I am choosing the books that I don’t want to see again in 2018; books that I will set the scene for the rest of my year!
After much contemplation, I have chosen the following 4 novels to carry me through January 2019!
- ARC Imprison the Sky by A. C. Gaughen – Sequel to Reign The Earth (review linked).
- ARC A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
- Otherworld by Jason Segal and Kristen Miller
- Otherearth by Jason Segal and Kristen Miller – Sequel to Otherworld
All the reviews will be posted in February as I will be doing the #FinnFuryRevolution Instagram photo challenge on my blog for every day in January!
I have chosen to read Imprison the Sky first as it will be released on January 22 2019. This gives me enough time to read it before the release date and provide you all with a review in February once the book is released.
My second read will be A Curse so Dark and Lonely, for the same reason as the previous book. ACSDAL will be released on January 28 2019, after Imprison the Sky so it only made sense that I read it second.
And with hopes that I finish the first two, I will be reading Otherworld and Otherearth consecutively as they are part of a series and have already been released. The former was released in 2017 and the latter in 2018. I was grateful enough to receive these from the publishers or I would never have thought to pick them up.
I’m so excited to read all of these! I cannot wait to dive straight in and have an amazing start to my 2019 year with some amazing books!

I plan on finishing Heir of Fire and Mortal Engines. Happy new year!
Happy New Year!
A curse so dark and lonely is a Beauty and the Beast retelling (with a twist) 🙊
I hope you love all of the books your reading. I’d love to hear your thoughts on Mortal Engines I’m still deciding whether to read them.
A Curse So Dark and Lonely is a wonderful book – I hope you enjoy it! I’m planning to catch up on quite a few Jan and Feb ARCS too!
Ooh I’m really keen for it. The blurb sounds super exciting 🙊 Which ARCs are you reading?
Dark of the West, Blackberry and Wild Rose, The Familiars, and Asha and the Spirit Bird are all up fairly soon for me!
Oh wow I’ll have to look those books up but they sound epic 🙊😍 I hope you enjoy them all!
