Ending the year with a bang!
I’m being ✨realistically optimistic✨ this month with my TBR. I’ve chosen five to six books that I really want to read before the year is over although two of them are novellas and another two, a collection of short pieces.
A couple of weeks ago, I uploaded a video on this topic where I talk more in-depth about the books I chose and why they have been chosen for my last ever TBR of 2020.
Watch the video here or at the link below!
There is always so much pressure in choosing a December TBR. The whole “it’s the last set of books you’ll ever read that this point in your life” is kinda stressful, not gonna lie.
So instead, I decided to make it easier on myself and choose some smaller books plus two novels that I had at the top of my TBR since their respective releases, and let me tell you, this has to have been the easiest TBR to put together all year!
So, What Am I Going To Read?
As mentioned at the beginning of the post, I chose a total of 6 books to close out my 2020 with.
The books fall into two main categories:
💪🏼 Novellas/short and quick reads
⚔️ Anticipated releases
The list of books, in the order I plan to read them in this month, are as follows:
Memento by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman (eBook)
Helena by Claire L. Smith
The Lost Book Of The White by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu
The Reckless Afterlife Of Harriet Stoker by Lauren James
Norse Myths by Jake Jackson
YA Sampler courtesy of Walker Books Australia
I hope that I can get through all of these this month! That would be an awesome end to this disaster of a year ☺️
Also, let me know What Books You Are Reading This Month!! I’d love to see what books your choosing to end out your 2020 and also, what you thought of this post 🙂
See you back here on Monday’s (book reviews), Wednesday’s (storytime/ writing updates) and Saturday’s (other bookish content).
