Last night I attended the book launch for Tin Heart by Shivaun Plozza. The event was located at Dymocks in Melbourne’s City, and hosted by Allen & Unwin and Inside a Dog – who are responsible for The Inky Awards of which the longlists have already been released.
It was such an amazing night! There was lots of laughter, chatter, and socialisation especially on my part.
Before I start I would love to thank Melanie for being so wonderful as to answer some questions for me about her first novel Gregory and The Grimbockle. Melanie has been so open, and I feel like I have learnt more about her as not just an author but as a person and what she has been through to get to where she is today (and you will to by reading this Q&A).

It seems like it’s been forever since my last book review with all the wrap-up, haul, TBR and New Years posts that have been consuming my blog; although I really loved to share all of that with you guys, I’m glad to be reviewing again!
