Rainbow Pride Month TBR Challenge!

Rainbow Pride Month TBR Challenge!

Heyo Bookaholics!

Happy Pride Month to everyone in the queer community!

Where I am not part of the queer community, I do love rainbows, seeing people happy and being themselves, and most of all, I love my friends! That’s why this month, I have gotten on board with The YA Room‘s Rainbow TBR Challenge.

For this challenge, you are to choose the books on your TBR based on the colours of the rainbow, and all the novels MUST have queer characters in them. Sarah even made a template to share on Instagram stories for everyone to display their selections.

I posted this on my Instagram Story, and also on my Twitter (@thebookishbree), where I hope to keep updates throughout June on my progress. So look out for those updates.

Books I’ve Chosen:

Red – The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu

Orange – Solitaire by Alice Oseman

Yellow – Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOZYA Stories edited by Michael Earp

Green – Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

Blue – Someday by David Levithan

Purple – The Quiet at the End of the World by Lauren James

Pink – Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

  1. I love your choices! Super excited to hear what you think of all of them! I loved Heartstopper! And i’ve also got Kindred on my #rainbowreadingchallenge pile! <3

Heartstopper is amazing! It’s my re-read for this month because it was so beautiful and I can’t get enough! I’m also three stories into Kindred so far and full of mixed feelings, and I’m not sure if they’re good mixed feelings…
All books will be reviewed on Jasper + Spice in the coming weeks xx
