I know many of you are in self-isolation/ social-distancing/ physical-distancing or whatever else you’re choosing to call it and there is either is too many on your bookshelf to read, or not enough.

Never fear! I’ve made a list of 5 books by Australian authors to support the locals, based on what you’re feeling at the time. Please let me know if you liked this and if it is something you’d like to see more of on here.

All these books are available on Kindle so you have no excuse to not be reading while in self-isolation 🙂

Fantasy stand-alone. Ever seen one of those? I have and it’s brilliant! A murder mystery that keeps you guessing till the end, the killer is not who you’d expect.

Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte

An Arthurian Retelling but in space and queer and with a strong female lead and a well thought out love story and betrayal and they address the injustices of the original story. Need I say more?

Once & Future by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy*

*I just found out that Amy and Cori are married and I am screaming right now because the two authors of my all-time favourite novel are married and it’s beautiful!!! Also, I may’ve pre-ordered the kindle copy of the sequel to this while writing this post. Oop.

YA thriller. It’s not scary, just makes you question your very existence and if what you think is real is actually real?
