Books That Give Me Hope!

Heyo Bookaholics!

Or

Books that I Am In Love With!

Day 11 of the #FinnFuryRevolution has me talking about the books that give me hope! For me, I am posting this in the very early hours of Saturday morning (i.e. 1am) because I had the best pool party Friday night, and am using my blogging to wind down for the night, and catch up on watching some YouTube videos.

For this prompt, I see these books as the ones that when I look at them on my shelf, I smile at them and my mind plays the story back to me like in a movie reel, with me remembering the story and the experience I had while reading it. This warms my heart and fondness towards the novel.

The books that give me warm fuzzy feelings are the following:

  • I Was Born For This by Alice Oseman
  • Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
  • Magnus Chase and The Ship of The Dead by Rick Riordan
  • Everyday by David Levithan

With all of these books, it is the ending that gets to me. The happy “everything is okay” kind of ending that feels like a jigsaw puzzle piece has been slid into place and everything just works. It’s the ending that gives me hope that even in a messed up world, everything can reach some sort of happiness.

This is a little short 1am post, and I don’t mind the length because I am so happy that I get to showcase four of my favourite books that reside on my shelf. I think books that give hope are so important. Do you have any books that give you hope or are close to your heart?
