Hello Bookaholics!

I am so excited to be writing this post right now, because if you couldn’t tell, today is the day that this blog Jasper + Spice was born!

It is amazing to actually think that I have been running this blog for three whole years. I did another post like this for my One Year Blogaversary which was a very important milestone for me as I knew that I was able to stay committed to something as big as this for a year.

I haven’t deviated from the kinds of posts what I started out with on my blog, I’ve just changed the topic a little…..

When I started this blog it’s shocking to think that I wasn’t even in the book community! I was in – and have slightly drifted back to – the fashion/ lifestyle scene; a place where I feel like I have to force myself into and no one is noticed unless you have a number of followers, unlike the book community where everyone is loved and accepted regardless of follower count.

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but my first post was a haul, most specifically my 16th birthday gift haul; with photos taken on a horrible Nokia phone camera, with no editing done at all. At the time I was scared of how much personal information to put out onto the internet and who would see my posts, but after it was posted, I was so proud of it, I knew that I could only get better.

Now, three years on and having produced higher quality content, I’m quite embarrassed by my first post, but I keep it posted to show myself and people who view my blog just how far I have progressed.

I know people only want to see the best posts, but I also want to showcase how I’ve progressed as a blogger, and what more I have to offer.

To keep this short I want to finish it here and give a big Thank-You to all of the people who have taken the time to follow, comment, like and even just read my blog posts that I put time and effort into producing for your entertainment.
