What I’ll be reading in September/ October + Blog news!

Hello Bookaholics, and welcome to Spring!

As the title suggests, today I will be discussing the books I will be reading in September and October, as well some news about this blog which I am super excited to share with you all!

To Be Read In Sept/ Oct.

Review Books:

I was gratefully sent to read and review two ebooks this month.

– The Lost Knight by Candy Atkins was sent to me to review by YA Bound Book Tours. I have already started this book and I am loving it!! My review will be posted in mid-late October.    – Initiate by Laura L. Fox, an ARC, was sent to me by OfTomes. The first four chapters can be read on Wattpad if you really want to check this book out.

Ebooks:

Ever since it was released I wanted to read Zenith (Part 1) by Sasha Alsberg (from abookutopia& Lindsay Cummings. This book will be released in full as a physical paperback and hardback copy as well as ebook, sometime next year. Sasha made a video about this realease titled ‘A Very Exciting Anouncement!’.

The Syndicate by Sophie Davis featured in Benjamin from Benjaminoftomes Youtube video titled ‘Judging Covers’ which provides a link where you can sign up to Sophie’s newsletter and receive the ebook copy of this novel for FREE so you can read it before the sequel ATLIC is released on November 1. Another book recommended in this video was At Water’s Edge by S. McPherson, which was given an outstanding review by Ben so I thought I’d give it a try.

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch is the last ebook I have chosen to read this month. I first heard of this book on Net Galley and since then I have seen various bookstagramers rave on about this book; especially TheGuyWithTheBook who made good use of his Instagram stories by venting his love for the book, making me jealous, especially with all the amazing photos he posted of the book. Also his shelves are the stuff of dreams.

Physical Books:

And lastly, the physical books I plan to read this month!!.

Steampunks edited by Kelly Link and Gavin J. Grant has been on my TBR shelf for almost three months and is so long overdue from my school library that I have recieved two emails of warning to return it.

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon is a recent purchase. I bought this because I saw it in a bookstore one day but thought nothing of it until I started seeing all the hype for the third book and how the series received such amazing reviews, I ran back to the store to go and pick this up.

And lastly; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling. I can’t believe it is almost the end. I have been marathoning the Harry Potter series for two months and I’m nearly done!!

Blog News!!

I am so excited to announce that I HAVE MADE A BLOGGING SCHEDULE!!

It may not sound like much but it’s quite a big thing for me, because as you may know if you follow my blog, is that I absolutely suck at posting – or doing anything for that matter – if I do not have a deadline. Now I do!!

This is also great for me since I am nearing an insanely busy time of the year – and my school career – where we are having tests every three days, and alongside homework and exam revision, I barely even have time to read.

THE DETAILS:

Every Saturday, at 10:00am Australian Standard Time (AST), and every Monday at 4:00pm AST; there will be a new post popping up on the blog, usually accompanied by an Instagram post sometime later, notifying you all of the new posts on here. So be sure to follow me on Instagram as well as Bloglovin’ where my posts will also appear.

The upcoming posts will be a mixture of Book reviews, TBR and Wrap-ups, Book Tags, and some useful tips to help with organisation and stress; especially since it is nearly exam time for me so this will be helping me as much as it will (hopefully) be helping you all.

The next post scheduled for this month will be the Unboxing of my Kikki.K Planner, and will go live at around 10am this Saturday. This is a review I have been dying to write and equally dying to share with you all.
